Thursday saw the Leicester City squad complete a morning and afternoon training session, as their time in Austria begins to come to a close.

- Leicester City continue hard work at their pre-season training camp in Velden, Austria - Craig Shakespeare’s men completed their third double session of the week on Thursday - Harry Maguire says he is looking forward to what the 2017/18 season will bring for his side

The Foxes have been hard at work all week and on Wednesday, following a bike ride around Velden and the surrounding area, they took some much-needed down time in the afternoon.

Back to it on Thursday, City’s stars were put through their paces with a number of drills and plenty of ball work in temperatures that touched 30 degrees Celsius.

But the players, after six sessions, look sharper, fitter and more confident as they continue to reap the rewards of their training camp out in southern Austria.

After a fourth full day in Austria, defender Harry Maguire said: “I’m looking forward to what it’s got to bring when the games come. It’s all about getting fit and ready for the first game of the season.

“Trips away are there so you see the lads 24 hours a day, so it’s good team bonding. You get to know the lads a lot better. After the trips, I’m sure I’ll get to know a lot more about them.”

A final training session follows on Friday morning, before City return to England ahead of their trip to Hong Kong to compete in the Premier League Asia Trophy.
