On this day 6th August 1992 David Lowe suffers a cheekbone fracture in the home friendly at filbert street City 1 Borussia Mönchengladbach 3 – 06/08/92 Dortmund are not the only German team to have visited Filbert street, as in 1992 City’s famous old stadium played host to an exhibition match between the Foxes and former Bundesliga champions Borussia Mönchengladbach.
