1 - We're underway

2 - City corner

Douglas is forced to head it behind for an early Foxes corner but Mahrez's curler is cleared and Wolves break.

It eventually comes to nothing and City can get back into shape.

4 - Kasper saves!

A lively start here!

Wolves very nearly take the lead as Jota, who joined on loan from Atlético Madrid this week, stings Schmeichel's gloves from distance. Well saved.

7 - Comfort in possession

Wilfred Ndidi brings the ball out

After a frantic opening, things have calmed down and City are enjoying some good, solid possession in the centre.

Ndidi and Drinkwater, the middle pairing, already look comfortable alongside each other yet again.

10 - Vardy!

City so nearly open the scoring as Drinkwater plays an inch-perfect ball over the top to Vardy who, in turn, rounds the 'keeper - but Coady does well to clear off the line for Wolves...

Brilliant from the Foxes!

13 - Slimani and Vardy link up

Nice football again from City as Slimani plays in Vardy on the edge of the Wolves area. Unfortunately for Vardy, though, Douglas is well placed to get a foot on it and clear down the left channel. Leicester looking dangerous up front...

Robert Huth watches from the stands at Molineux

As Huth watches on, it is now the hosts' turn to threaten with Jota yet again proving to be a handful on the left wing.

He plays it into Enobakhare, who arrows it just wide.

17 - Enobakhare goes close

18 - Danger at the back

Enobakhare has alarm bells ringing again as he looks to curl it into Schmeichel's top corner from 20 yards. Wide.

22 - Long range

While Wolves are undoubtedly keeping Schmeichel on his toes, most of their efforts so far have invariably been from distance.

Neves is the latest to try his luck, from 25 yards out, and it whistles over.

Wes Morgan holds off Ivan Cavaleiro

City appear to have weathered the storm here at Molineux after an energetic opening period from the hosts.

Both Mahrez and Albrighton have looked useful when found by their colleagues while Vardy is proving to be a menace up top.

27 - City settle

30 - Over and out

Wolves are awarded a free-kick right on the edge of City's penalty area, after Drinkwater was adjudged to have fouled.

Neves, though, curls it a metre or so over.

34 - Opening sub

Shakespeare makes his first change of the afternoon, bringing Okazaki on for Slimani just after the half-hour mark.

The Algerian has a knock and won't be risked.

Riyad Mahrez finds space out wide

We don't know quite how he does it but Mahrez's nimble feet win a free-kick on the edge of the area.

Drinkwater, Fuchs and Mahrez himself stand over it...

36 - Lovely from Mahrez

37 - Fuchs goes for goal

It's Fuchs who goes for goal from 20 yards but his best efforts are twice thwarted by the wall.

Taking a third hit at goal, he loops it into Ruddy's grasp.

41 - Change in formation

It looks like City have reverted to 4-4-1-1 following the arrival of Okazaki, who is playing slightly deeper than Slimani was.

44 - Quiet period

As is usually the case with pre-season friendlies, it can be all-action one minute and very quiet the next.

City and Wolves seem content to get to the half-time break with the scores level.

Half-time

Goalless so far, but not without drama. Vardy went closest for the Foxes while Neves continues to cause problems at the back.

Shinji Okazaki finds space to turn

Off we go in the second period.

No changes for either side at the break in the West Midlands.

49 - Schmeichel tested

Jota twists and turns in front of the Foxes backline and tries to catch Schmeichel out from distance...

The Danish Footballer of the Year has it covered.

55 - Doherty just wide

It was close for Wolves, but Leicester survive.

The ball falls to Doherty at the back post but the Irishman hits it with the outside of his boot wide of Schmeichel's near post.

59 - Wolves take the lead 1-0

Well, that was special from Cavaleiro.

The Wolves midfielder cuts inside his man and smashes it into the top corner.

Harry Maguire calm in possession

Shakespeare's men have taken a moment to get back into their flow after that stunning opener from Cavaleiro.

Being put under this sort of pressure in pre-season will do City the world of good.

63 - Foxes recover

68 - Wolves changes

Neves, Saiss, Jota and Miranda are replaced by Edwards, Price, Ronan and Batth for Wolves. No sign of any movement on the Foxes bench just yet.

72 - Safe hands

After just coming on, 19-year-old winger Ronan picks it up inside the City area and looks for the bottom corner.

Schmeichel scoops it up comfortably.

75 - City corner

Mahrez forces Ruddy to knock it behind with a curled free-kick - heading for the top corner - from 25 yards. Was certainly on target...

Wilfred Ndidi looks for options 77 - City pressure

Two corners, two free-kicks but still no City goal.

Mahrez, Ndidi and Albrighton at the thick of things for the visitors.

79 - Hosts mix it up

More Wolves subs now... Douglas, Cavaleiro and Enobakhare off.

Bennett, Zyro and Graham on.

84 - Today's attendance

11,953 fans, including a very sizeable Foxes contingent across from us, are here at Molineux this afternoon.

87 - Late scare for City

It drops to Ronan but the time he takes to drag it back onto his right foot gives Schmeichel enough time to smother his shot on goal.

Simpson then makes sure by poking it behind.

Full-time

City are edged 1-0 by Wolves, courtesy of Cavaleiro's second half stunner.

Next up, Burton Albion at Pirelli Stadium on Tuesday night (7:45pm KO)
