1 - Here we go!

Morata gets the ball rolling at King Power Stadium as the game begins.

Chelsea all in white, the Foxes all in blue.

Come on, City!

1 - Chelsea in possession

Early spell on the ball for the visiting side. Albrighton is there to cut out a pass and wins it back for his side, though. Good work.

2 - Comfortable for Schmeichel

First effort of the game sees Morata curl a low drive into Schmeichel, who holds with ease.

3 - City come forward

Vardy gets himself into a good position down the left wing and sends in a fine low cross, but there's no one there to meet it. Lively start.

6 - Vardy chases down

Courtois just about manages to clear as Vardy races in to try and pinch it off the Chelsea stopper. Close.

10 - Schmeichel collects

Fabregas sends a well-weighted pass into the path of Morata, but thankfully, the Spaniard doesn't connect and Schmeichel is there to hold.

Silva in attendance

11 - Azpilicueta blocks

Albrighton glides past Luiz down the left and attempts to swing it into Vardy, but Chelsea's skipper is there to clear.

Wilfred Ndidi

Ndidi is challenged by Chelsea's Alonso.

Both sides have been happy to get forward so far this afternoon. Lively start

17 - Maguire clears

Dangerous looking cross from the right from Alonso is cut out by Maguire with Morata not too far away.

21 - Luiz free kick saved

It's easy for Schmeichel as the Brazilian's effort from 35 yards is straight at City's No.1. Ambitious.

Matty James

James tries to advance through a wall of Chelsea players.

Morata's low effort has proved to be the best chance of the game so far as we approach the first half's midway point.

Battling away

26 - Vardy!

Lovely play from the Foxes. James wins it and offloads to Mahrez, who slips in Vardy. City's No.9 takes it on first time and it rolls just wide. Close.

31 - Fuchs away

Alonso is proving dangerous down Chelsea's left wing. Fuchs is there to clear a cross to safety this time around.

34 - Morgan stands strong

The skipper does well to get in the way of Morata's effort and Schmeichel collects the loose ball.

36 - Albrighton delivers

Fuchs plays it to the left winger, who cuts it back onto his right and curls into Slimani. Rudiger gets there ahead of the City striker, though.

39 - Difficult conditions

With just over five minutes of the first period to play, t's just started to pour it down here at King Power Stadium.

40 - SLIMANI!

City should be ahead. Mahrez drives forward with Vardy in support and only Azpilicueta back for Chelsea.

The wideman advances and eventually slips in Slimani, who is denied by Courtois follow a good save. Unlucky!

Goal. Chelsea take the lead. 0-1

Incredibly frustrating for City, as Morata nods in to open the scoring at King Power Stadium. Ouch.

43 - Fuchs!

Chelsea clear Albrighton's corner and it falls to Fuchs, whose effort is blocked. Further attempts from Vardy and James are also turned away by the Chelsea back line. So close to an equaliser.

45 - One minute added on

The Foxes have a minute to find an equaliser before half-time here.

45 - Moses denied

A snapshot from Moses sees the winger force Schmeichel into a good low save.

Half-time

Morata's header on 41 minutes sees Chelsea head into the break with a 1-0 lead at King Power Stadium. Plenty of positive moves from City, though.

Big second half to come.

46 - Second half begins

Two changes for City at the break. King and Gray on for Albrighton and Slimani.

45 minutes for the Foxes to turn things around here on Filbert Way.

47 - Ndidi tracks back

Good work from the Nigeria international as he cuts out Morata's cross with Pedro free on the right.

Chelsea double their advantage 0-2

It's 2-0 to the visitors as Kanté's 25-yard effort nestles into the bottom corner.

53 - Vardy!

City's No.9 is just inches away from latching onto James' through-ball. Courtois collects.

55 - City advance

Gray makes space for himself on the left wing, but his cross is cut out and Chelsea clear their lines.

59 - Gray miscues

Fuchs' long throw is punched away by Courtois and it falls to Gray, who can't make the desired connection with a half-volley.

61 - Penalty to City! referee Mason gives it

Vardy is fouled by Courtois and City have a spot kick. Vardy to take... GOOOOOOAL! VARDY CONVERTS! 1-2 YESSSSSSSSS! GET IN! Vardy sends it high into the net and City are right back in the game now. Come on!

66 - Alonso fires over

After shouts for a penalty from Chelsea players are waved away, Alonso smashes an effort well over from 25 yards.

Jamie Vardy

Vardy picks the ball out of the net after converting his penalty.

Just over 20 minutes for City to find an leveller here...Cool as you like

Cool as you like 71 - Pause in play James and Moses clash in the air and play is stopper. Thankfully, they're both back up.

76 - Fuchs delivers

The Austrian sends a cross in from the left that Vardy is just inches away from meeting. Unlucky.

77 - Iheanacho coming on...

The Nigeria international makes his way onto the King Power Stadium pitch, replacing James.

79 - Mahrez dispossessed

City try and break and it's Mahrez who comes forward, but he can't beat Rudiger down the right wing.

80 - Close from Zappacosta

The substitute sends a low effort wide as Chelsea hit the Foxes on the break. 10 minutes to play...

83 - Penalty appeals from Morata The Spaniard thinks his header has hit Maguire on the arm in the box. It has, but there was nothing the City defender could do. Nothing given.

86 - Ndidi does well Good work from the City midfielder to dispossess the advancing Hazard. The Belgian takes the corner short to Rudiger and Chelsea are happy to keep the ball.

87 - Willian curls wide The Brazilian comes close to making it 3-1 as his shot bends around the outside of the post.

90 - Four minutes added on As Hazard wins a free kick, the fourth official signals that there will be four minutes added on at the end of the second half.

90 - SAVE! Schmeichel pulls off a superb stop to deny Willian from close range.

90 - KING!

Fuchs' cross to the back post flies just past the feet of King, who previously sent in a fine delivery to Vardy. The City striker couldn't convert, though.

Full-time It's all over at King Power Stadium as Leicester City are edged 2-1 by Chelsea. Alvaro Morata and N'Golo Kanté gave the visitors a 2-0 lead, before Jamie Vardy pulled one back from the spot. The Foxes, despite all their efforts, couldn't find an equaliser, though.
