PLAYER PROFILE
The Yorkshire-born striker was one of Leicester's all-time top goalscorers thanks to his envious record of 148 goals in 247 league appearances for the Foxes - he also notched eight goals from 12 FA Cup ties. They all came in a six-year spell with Leicester after arriving at the club from Barnsley and Hine went on to score more than 300 senior goals over a superb 17-year career which saw him go on to play for Huddersfield Town and Manchester United before finishing this career at former club Barnsley. He started as he meant to go on by scoring twice on his debut against Burnley in January 1926 and he never looked back, with his qualities soon gathering the attention of the national squad. He got six full England caps and netted four goals before going on to net a treble for the Foxes in their record 10-0 thumping of Portsmouth in the 1928-29 season. His move to City saw him move up from Second Division to First Division action and he struck 32 goals in one campaign to help the team to runners-up spot. It wasn't the only time the goal-getter bagged over 30 goals in a City shirt. He was allowed to move back to Yorkshire with Huddersfield Town for £4,000 - a bargain even at the time for such a goalscorer - but Leicester got his best days, even though he did go on to exceed the 300-goal tally after his departure. On his return to Oakwell Hine he actually took on the role of player-coach under a former City player Angus Seed but called time on his career shortly afterwards.

PLAYER PROFILE
Grayson was a largely dependable full-back in Division One and the Premiership with City, notching up over 200 appearances for the Foxes in a five-year spell which stretched from 1992-97. Ripon born, Grayson came through the youth ranks at Leeds United but looked for regular first-time football and found it with a move to City. He was relatively versatile, being able to play in midfield, centre defence and full-back. He was a fans' favourite, winning the player of the year accolade a number of times and he was also the first Foxes captain to lift a trophy at Wembley when he led City to their 1994 play-off triumph against Derby County which saw the club into the top-flight. He was stand-in skipper, but also provided the ball for Steve Walsh to nod home the decisive goal. That season resulted in Grayson receiving his first supporters' player of the year award, and rightly so. He struggled slightly to adapt to top-flight football, as the whole Leicester team did in that first season, but he was still there to help Leicester back to the Premiership for a second time, and was an improved product the second time round. He was also part of the squad that won the League Cup in 1997, again taking the player of the year award. Despite his enjoyable stay at the club, he turned down the offer of a new deal and instead moved to Aston Villa, where he spent two years before moving to Blackburn - and turning down the chance for a return to City - although his time at Ewood Park wasn't the best for the defence. Loan moves followed to Sheffield Wednesday, Stockport County and Bradford City before Grayson finished his playing career with Blackpool, where he went on to take the reigns as manager. He impressed as manager of the Tangerines and his success at Bloomfield Road saw him recruited by former club Leeds United, where he led the Whites to promotion from League One before being sacked by chairman Ken Bates having led the club to the verge of the play-offs. He didn't move far for his next job, taking the vacant manager's position at Huddersfield Town

PLAYER PROFILE
The former Charlton Athletic player and England international left-back was a popular figure at the Walkers Stadium, both as a player in the twilight of his successful career, as a coach, and also as a very brief stint as interim manager of the Foxes. He joined City on a six-month deal in August 2008 and made his debut against Fulham in the League Cup. Powell enjoyed his 750th career appearance wearing a Leicester shirt, playing against former club Southend United in December of that year, and he signed a deal that would keep him at the Walkers until the end of the 2008-09 season. The left-back signed a player-coach role with the club in July 2009 under Nigel Pearson, and was retained by incoming manager Paulo Sousa. He even took charge alongside Mike Stowell when Sousa was sacked, leading the Foxes to a 3-1 victory over Scunthorpe United. Sven-Goran Eriksson kept him on as coach when he was appointed as manager, but Powell couldn't resist the temptation to manage his former club Charlton Athletic when they came calling.
